Fabrice Bistoni has been the double bass player of the French Riviera jazz scene for over twenty years. Originally from the Maritime Alps, at the age of 23 he attended his first double bass lesson at the National Conservatory of Nice. However, in 1991, he obtained his diploma in jazz bass with flying colors! In 1994 he decided to improve his instrumental technique and studied classical double bass at the Cannes Conservatory for six years. Then, in 1997, he joined the IMFP in Salon de Provence, always with the aim of improving his playing and improvisational techniques.
